Our Philosophy
Blue Water Fit is a fitness training studio founded by Joe Linton and Jason Lavoie in 2011. Our studio is designed for one purpose; get our clients to their goals. From the typical equipment of dumbbells and barbells to more advanced techniques of kettle bells and Olympic lifting, we use our knowledge and skill with these to make your workouts fun and effective.


The Coaches


Joe Linton

Joe Linton grew up on the La Jolla Indian Reservation located in the northeast part of San Diego County. His passion for fitness started in his teens on the wrestling mat which continued into college. Wrestling really opened his eyes to how far the human body can go and that the body is only as strong as the mind. With his CrossFit Level 1 Certification, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist certifications he is equipped with the knowledge to help people with goals that range from post rehab to increasing athletic performance. Most of all he loves to use his favorite knowledge of old fashioned buttkicking (self certified).
Jason Lavoie

Jason Lavoie started getting into fitness at a young age. As a freshman in high school he started with football and wrestling. During his sophomore year in high school Jason started doing the Olympic Lifts and come his junior year, got into competition at the USA JR. National Olympic Lifting competition. At the age of 21, Jason looked to begin a career in personal training. By the time Jason was 23 years old personal training became his way of life, always looking to learn and grow to better his skills and trade. Jason Lavoie has trained athletes, house wives, soon to be mothers and help rehab clients with joint issues. With his training back ground routed in the Olympic Lifts and Kettlebells plus sports specific training and corrective exercise knowledge, Jason Lavoie is a young but very experienced trainer that will always be there for you to make sure you reach your goals quickly and safely.

Bootcamp Description

The Bootcamps are small group training sessions where we have both trainers coaching you through the class so that you get the attention you need. The Bootcampers go through a variety of functional exercises to achieve a full body workout. The classes are fun, exciting and a great way to mix up your workouts while meeting new friends. 

Personal 1on1 Training

We provide Personal 1on1 training for clients who want/need more attention.  From post rehab corrective exercise to athletic performance enhancement we are here to create and personalize a program that will get you success.
